Who We Are
“Fire Extinguisher Solutions”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Consult CPK Ltd, operating across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
“Client”, “you”, and “your” refer to any business or individual purchasing our services or products via our website, email, phone, or other communication channels.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates take effect when published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Scope of Services and Products
We provide fire safety and health & safety services across Ireland, including:

Fire extinguisher supply, installation, and maintenance

Fire safety consultancy (risk assessments, evacuation plans, compliance support)

Fire safety training (in-person, virtual, and e-learning)
-
Health & safety consultancy and documentation
-
Digital tools and client management systems
-
Fire safety products, including Firexo extinguishers
Full details of services will be outlined in your quotation or proposal.
Order of Precedence
In the event of any conflict between documents, the following order applies:

Signed proposal or quotation

Data processing agreement (if applicable)

Pricing, Rates and Charges
All prices are quoted in euro (€) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of VAT unless specified.
Typical service rates:
-
Consultant day rate (up to 8 hours): €600
-
Half-day rate: €360
-
Administration day rate: €200
-
Half-day administration: €100
Weekend work may incur additional charges.
Travel and Expenses
-
Travel within a reasonable local radius may be included
-
Additional mileage may be charged at €0.45 per kilometre
-
Accommodation and subsistence (where required) will be charged at cost
-
Any additional expenses will be agreed in advance
Proposals, Orders and Acceptance
A quotation remains valid for the stated period. A contract is formed when:

You accept our quotation (in writing or electronically), or
-
We commence work
Payment Terms
-
Consultancy services: 50% deposit, balance on completion
-
Training: payable in advance unless agreed otherwise
-
Invoices are typically payable within 10 days
We reserve the right to:
-
Charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2012

Suspend services for non-payment
Software and Digital Services
Where access to software or digital platforms is provided:

You are granted a non-transferable licence for internal business use
-
You are responsible for login security and user access
-
We may suspend access for misuse, breach, or non-payment
We aim to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Cancellations and Refunds
Consultancy & Training

0–7 days’ notice: 100% fee payable
-
8–21 days’ notice: 50% fee payable
-
22+ days’ notice: no charge
E-Learning
-
Refunds available only if the course has not been accessed
Attendance
-
Late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable
-
We reserve the right to reschedule training if necessary
Products (Including Firexo Extinguishers)
Orders & Delivery
-
All orders are subject to availability
-
Risk passes upon delivery; ownership transfers upon full payment
Returns
Business customers:
-
Returns accepted only by agreement within 30 days
-
Items must be unused and in original packaging
-
Certain items (e.g. pressurised extinguishers) may be non-returnable
Consumers:
-
Your statutory rights under Irish consumer law apply
-
A 14-day cooling-off period may apply for distance sales
Faulty or Damaged Goods
Please notify us promptly so we can resolve the issue.
Product Use and Safety
All fire safety equipment must be:

Installed and used in accordance with manufacturer instructions
-
Maintained in line with Irish fire safety standards
-
Not modified or misused
We act as a supplier unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties apply.
Training and Certification

Certification is issued subject to successful completion of course requirements
-
Some certifications may require renewal
-
We reserve the right to refuse or remove attendees for safety or misconduct
Intellectual Property
All materials provided (including reports, training content, and software) remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise.
You may use materials internally but must not reproduce, distribute, or sell them without written permission.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information secure and use it only for the purposes of the contract.
Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with:

General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

Data Protection Acts 1988–2018 (Ireland)
Personal data is used only for service delivery, administration, and compliance.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law:

Our liability is limited to the total fees paid in the previous 12 months

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
-
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud
You remain responsible for implementing fire safety measures and complying with legal obligations.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including:

Extreme weather
-
Fire or flood
-
Industrial action
-
Utility or network failures
Subcontracting
We may subcontract services where necessary but remain responsible for delivery.
Non-Solicitation
If you directly employ or engage our staff within 12 months of service delivery, an engagement fee of 50% of the individual’s annual salary may apply.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
